Donate to our ‘Champions for Children’ Campaign

We are delighted to announce that School-Home Support’s ‘Champions for Children’ 2025 fundraising campaign, in conjunction with The Childhood Trust and fuelled by the Big Give, is now open for you to make a donation! 

We need your support to help raise £40,000 to get children back to school in London. From midday today until midday on 17 June your donation will be automatically doubled.

School attendance is in crisis. 1.49 million children in the UK (1 in 5 in every classroom) are missing too much of their schooling, having a significant impact on their future life chances. The time is now to urgently support them and their families and help ensure children can maximise their potential. 

School-Home Support looks beyond the classroom to tackle the underlying causes of school absence, such as poverty, inadequate housing and unsupported mental health issues. We provide support for the whole family to access vital resources and overcome barriers to learning. Your support will ensure children are getting the help when they need it most. 

£40 could provide emergency food for a family to help ensure their child isn’t hungry at school and can be ready to learn

£200 could provide school uniforms, coats and shoes for 4 children to help them attend school with dignity

£1,000 could provide intensive support to a child and their family and help get them back to school for the long term 

Between 3 – 17 June donations (up to £20,000 in total) made via the ‘Champions for Children’ Big Give will be generously matched by The Childhood Trust and our committed corporate supporter.
