Briefing on the School Attendance Bill. We’re calling on MPs  to support the Bill which introduces a duty on local authorities to promote regular attendance and reduce absence, and a requirement on schools to have and publicise a school attendance policy, but urges to call on Government to do more to fund support for families whose children are struggling with absence
