In our 40th anniversary year, the need for support with school attendance has never been higher.

We are aiming to raise £40,000 to help some of the most disadvantaged children in London access the support they need to be in school. Poverty, inadequate housing and mental health decline are just some of the problems our practitioners support children and their families with.

It costs on average £1,000 to support 1 child and their family intensively with a tailored plan for a year. £40,000 could help us show up for 40 children and help get them back into school.

From midday on Tuesday 4 June to midday on Tuesday 18 June, all donations (up to £20,000) will be matched by The Childhood Trust and our other kind pledgers, meaning your donation will have twice the impact!

Henry’s story

8 year old Henry was referred to School-Home Support as he would often refuse to go to school, and his attendance had fallen to just 61%. After working with School-Home Support practitioner Katie, Henry’s confidence grew and he became more interested in school, until his attendance increased to 97%.

Could you donate today and help children like Henry overcome challenges at home and re-engage with his education?
