Students from one of our partner schools had the amazing opportunity to visit Vanquis Banking Group’s offices in central London

Our partner Vanquis Banking Group hosted students from an alternative provision we support, at their offices based in the Walkie Talkie building in central London last month.
The group of young people enjoyed meeting a variety of Vanquis and Moneybarn employees, and learning about the different routes into employment. It was interesting to hear about the wide range of jobs available, and how an interest in finance isn’t central to all roles.
Students enjoyed an office tour and lunch at the offices whilst taking in the views of the city, with a particular excitement to spot Wembley Stadium! We were then lucky enough to gain access to the stunning Sky Garden which boasted views of the Thames, West, South and East London. The sights were incredible and many selfies were taken!
For many of the children we support, they may never have been in an office environment, or had the opportunity to travel into central London. This was a fantastic experience for the students involved, and a chance for them to ask questions and consider their own future careers.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Vanquis for making this possible, and for encouraging the students we work with to aim high, and know they can achieve anything they want.
