Looking for an excuse to get fit outdoors now that Spring has (finally) sprung? Why not take part in the 5KMay for School-Home Support?

We’ve partnered with the creators of the 5K lockdown challenge, Run for Heroes, to bring you #5KMay.
How can you get involved?
🏃 Sign up to participate in a 5K anytime during May. Run, walk, cycle or hop – it’s up to you!
💰 Donate £5 to School-Home Support here.
🖐️ Nominate five friends to take part too (tag your friends on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook and make sure you tag us as well).
💪🏼 Why not take on a team challenge with five friends or colleagues, raising £25 and nominating 25 others?
Your donation will ensure School-Home Support can help vulnerable children overcome barriers to education, so that they are ready to learn, whatever it takes!

Those getting involved in 5KMay for us
This May, the School-Home Support team in Blackpool have challenged themselves to complete a combined virtual walk, run, jog or crawl to School-Home Support head office. That’s an incredible 251 miles!
Sarah Loy, who is a Targeted Support Coordinator in Blackpool, and also the mastermind behind the Blackpool efforts, said: “The Blackpool team has been working relentlessly over the pandemic. Moving to remote working means we are never actually together as a team. Walking to our head office in London is a way of bringing back a bit of team spirit and improving wellbeing.
“The 251 miles will not only boost my own personal fitness, as working from home has reduced the amount of walking I do dramatically, but will also be a boost to morale and also get us all working towards the same goal, virtually together. Hopefully it will raise a smile and awareness of School-Home Support along the way.”
In addition, our friends at Weil are also getting involved in the #5KMay challenge.
