Attendance Support and Development Programme
A school attendance training programme to upskill school staff with attendance responsibilities.
The Department for Education’s school attendance guidance ‘Working together to improve attendance’ requires schools and local authorities to embed a support first, family centric approach to tackling absence.
As advisors to the Government on the guidance, School-Home Support’s Attendance Support and Development Programme will help schools who are aiming for best practice in holistic whole family support, early intervention strategies and a consent driven partnership approach to working with parents/carers.
The Attendance Support and Development Programme offers three flexible levels to improve attendance through proven, hands-on strategies.
- Level 1: FREE Attendance Bitesize Course – Perfect as an introduction, this course is delivered via email over 4 weeks, sharing essential insights to tackle attendance challenges right away.
- Level 2: Attendance Foundations – An online course that dives deeper into attendance improvement techniques, designed for a thorough understanding and practical application.
- Level 3: Mastering Attendance – Our most comprehensive programme, delivered over three terms, includes online and in-person sessions including one-to-one supervision, equipping school staff with advanced, evidence-based approaches for impactful, lasting results.
