Work with Parents

Work with Parents

The Work with Parents qualification is awarded by City & Guilds and will equip staff working with parents with the skills and knowledge to provide effective support to parents.  We offer this qualification at three levels.

Level 2:

Level 2 will suit you if you are a parent volunteer in a school or other children’s settings and looking to start a career in the field. You may have some experience – perhaps you’re a parent yourself, or you’ve been through other short  parenting courses and have done some volunteering.

Prices on application.

Level 3:

This course is designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge and skills to enable them to work with parents effectively in a children’s setting, including Caseload Management. Click here for more details or contact for a booking form.

This is a blended format which involves 1.5 days classroom days, online learning and 120 notional learning hours for the whole qualification including assessment stage. Learners must produce a portfolio of evidence from their role working with families towards improved outcomes for their children. The qualification should take between 3 to 6 months to complete.
