Our online learning portal provides a range of CPD certified courses designed to support a range of professionals working with children and young people.

Each CPD module will take between 2-8 hours to complete.

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Designed to support professionals working with Children, Young People and Families who have been the victims of or, are at risk of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. It will enable you to identify signs and symptoms of victims, understand the relevant laws, legislation and legal framework as well as how to raise concerns.

Radicalisation
Designed to support professionals working with Children and Young People to prevent the risk of Radicalisation. It will enable you to identify those at risk, understand key laws and legislations as well as how to raise concerns. 

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
Designed to support professionals working with Children and Young People to enable them to identify and support girls who have been the victims of FGM. You will learn the key laws and legislations as well as how to raise concerns.

Honour-Based Violence and Forced Marriage
Designed to support professionals working with Children and Young People to enable them to identify and support girls who have been the victims of Honour based violence and forced marriage. It will enable you to identify those at risk and have an understanding of the Laws, legislations and how to raise concerns.

Welfare Reform
Designed to support professionals working with Children and Families who are welfare-dependent. It offers practical information and guidance on universal credit, benefit capping, localisation of social funding and much more.

Self-Harm
Designed to support professionals working with Children and Young People who self-harm. It offers practical information and guidance to support you to further understand what it is, why they do it and offers strategies of support.

Work with Parents: The Essential Foundation Unit
The course includes barriers to participation, pressures parents face, and many useful resources to achieve best practice working.

Caseload Management
Includes how to manage and prioritise your caseload, the role of supervision and the importance of review and evaluation.

Effective Communication with Families
Course content includes the importance of how we communicate (including social media), strategies concerning effective communication, and barriers to communication.
