Thank you Santas!

The festive season is now well and truly upon us.
What better way to kick off the festivities than donning a white beard, red suit and running round Victoria Park as Santa Claus?! Team SHS did just that – joining 4,000 others Santas on Sunday 6 December for the Do it For Charity Text Santa Run.
It was a fantastic day with a gospel choir adding an extra festive touch, a children’s Santa run beforehand and a very energetic group warm up. It’s not often you will see 4,000 Santas doing their stretches, twists and turns together! There will be coverage of the event on ITV’s Text Santa show on Friday 18 December – do take a look, and please do email joanne.bullard@shs.org.uk if you are inspired to register interest for next year’s Santa Run. We’d love to have an even bigger team next year.
This year so far Team SHS has raised £1,795 – vital funds that help keep SHS running and help us support children to maximise their educational opportunities and life chances.
