Team SHS wants YOU! Join us at a challenge event
News article from February 19, 2019
Every day, we work hard to make sure children have the support they need to thrive and achieve in life. We want to help as many disadvantaged children as possible – but in the current landscape of austerity and budget cuts to schools and social services, we rely on the kindness of supporters to do so.
You can help us level the playing field for more disadvantaged children across the country by taking part in a challenge event for SHS.
We know our supporters care deeply about equal opportunity. We know they’re passionate about breaking down the barriers that prevent less-fortunate children from getting the education they deserve. That’s why (following on from our previous success with corporate partners) we’re now offering ALL of our wonderful supporters a chance to get involved and truly make a difference!
Aside from challenge events being a great way to achieve your own personal goals, taking part also provides an excellent opportunity to raise life-changing SHS funds for some of the most disadvantaged children in England.
- £5 can buy a child a school tie
- £36 can pay for a fortnight of breakfast club, ensuring a child is fed and focused for the school day ahead
- £100 can help expand our services – reaching even more children and families and turning their lives around with SHS frontline support
