Signature Litigation staff don Santa suits to raise £3,600 for SHS
News article from December 12, 2016
An amazing team of staff from Signature Litigation law firm took part in the Santa Run in Victoria Park on Sunday 4th December, raising vital funds for SHS. The group were joined by SHS’s Emma Mortoo and enjoyed perfect running conditions on a beautiful, bright and cold Sunday morning. The Santa Run is a hugely popular event: SHS was delighted to have Team Signature taking part along with 3,000 other Santas! It was a memorable choice for the firm’s first ever staff fundraising challenge.
Any morning grogginess was overcome as the team, dressed in seasonal Santa finery, ran, jogged or sprinted their way to the finish line. Sacrificing their Sunday morning lie-ins was worth it; the team raised an impressive £1,100 in sponsorships from colleagues and cake sales in the run-up to the event. The running team were brilliantly supported by colleagues, husbands and children who braved the cold and came along to cheer on team Signature. A massive thank you to everyone at Signature Litigation for getting involved.
We were also absolutely delighted to be selected as Signature’s chosen charity this Christmas, nominated and voted for by staff after an impactful aspiration session in November. As a result, we are receiving a generous £2,500 additional donation from the law firm.
Overall, a fantastic £3,600 raised for School-Home Support this Christmas. Thank you, Signature!
