SHS in the Media: Vulnerable families given home makeover by SHS and Fidelity

The Hackney Gazette has covered an exciting project we’ve carried out recently with Fidelity London. The article begins:
“Two teams of 80 to 100 workers from firm Fidelity London got their overalls on last week for the task, which was run in collaboration with children’s charity School-Home Support.
Some of the group were tasked with completely redecorating the homes in one day, including installing new furniture. Others took the families out and some raised money to pay for the supplies.
Single mum of four Carlene was lucky enough to be chosen for the project by staff at SHS who have been supporting her. Her husband left after 10 years of marriage and cut off all financial support, leaving them struggling to eat.”
