News article from November 2, 2017
Our new Impact Report published yesterday, and one of our more shocking findings was picked up on by the press.
Safeguarding Manager, Daniel Jarrett, was on BBC Radio London in the morning, being interviewed about the number of SHS’s safeguarding interventions more than tripling over the past six years. You can listen to the interview on the BBC iPlayer website – the clip starts at 2:16:44: http://www.bbc.co.uk/
The Evening Standard also published a piece on the findings. It highlighted the fact that we carried out 4,794 actions to keep children safe from harm last year, with issues such as neglect, physical abuse and poor mental health arising.
Finally, Sec Ed magazine went with an article on both the publication of the new report and its safeguarding findings. You can read the full article here.
