The difference we make in schools: Autumn term 2016/17
News article from February 1, 2017
One thing School-Home Support (SHS) prides itself on is our rigorous approach to measuring data: SHS practitioners log all of the work they do so that we can accurately record and present the real impact of their work. With the 2016/17 school year already in its second term, we wanted to keep everyone informed as to how we’re getting on. And what better way to do it, than through an easily digested infographic?
We also wanted to highlight that, while the majority of our work still involves getting children into school and ready to learn, we’ve also noticed an increase in the amount of safeguarding work we do. Keeping children safe from harm is the priority of anyone working with children and young people – and this work now makes up over a tenth of our interventions.
