The learning aim of this workshop is to evaluate current methods and explore new strategies to engage children and young people with low attendance. The workshop will enable participants to:
- Identify children and families in need of support
- Understand national and local policies on attendance and exclusion
- Explore new methods of engaging and working in partnership with families
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to support your attendance improvement strategy.
By the end of the workshop participants will have a range of practical tools to improve whole -school and targeted attendance.
