Celebrating our partnership with the KPMG Foundation

In October 2020 School-Home Support developed a partnership with the KPMG Foundation. We were awarded £100,000 to allocate to resources that would enable us to be a strong and resilient organisation, ready to help vulnerable families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The money awarded to us was used to fund Head Office support staff roles that directly benefit our work with families, such as the IT Manager, Data Analyst, Project Manager and Partnership Development Manager. There was also an investment in new IT equipment to support our increased reliance on technology during lockdown.

Speaking about our partnership, Jaine Stannard, Chief Executive of School-Home Support said: “I wanted to send a big thank you message to everyone at the KPMG Foundation. Your COVID-19 response grant has really supported us to continue to sustain our services and to develop further services and support for those families who have really been affected by COVID-19.

“We already are supporting children and families who face health, education and other inequalities, but the fallout of COVID-19 and the impact of this pandemic has made those greater than ever. Your support has enabled us to keep on going at a time when a lot of charities, including us, were facing really uncertain times.”

Dr Judith McNeill, CEO of the KPMG Foundation added: “We are very pleased to have partnered with School-Home Support during this pandemic. It’s great to see that the money we have given them has been used to ensure the organisation can weather the challenges of the pandemic, and continue to provide an excellent service to vulnerable families in need.”
