Amy Grant – Communications and Marketing Manager
Amy leads on the marketing and communications work for School-Home Support, with a focus on extending our reach nationally. Amy is also on the committee for the volunteer-led winter campaign, Wrap Up London. She previously spent a year on the Charityworks graduate scheme.
Evelyn Korankye – Partnership and Development Manager
Evelyn has been working in the business development team at School-Home Support for the past four years, interpreting market intelligence and data, seeking new opportunities of growth and developing relationships with new and existing schools and local authorities. She regularly volunteers with food waste and community action charities.
Joanne Bullard – Executive Administrator to CEO and HR Coordinator
Joanne has been working at School-Home Support for five years, providing essential administrative support to the CEO and HR support to coworkers.
Kit Damant – Fundraising Assistant
Kit provides support for individual donors, community fundraising, and cultivation events. Having just graduated from Portsmouth University with a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Kit has recently started a career in the charity sector wishing to work for an organisation that really values its social impact.
Liam Smith – Fundraising Assistant (Trusts & Foundations)
Liam has recently graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Medieval History. Liam assists in supporting Trust and Foundation funders, using School-Home Support’s solid reputation to maximise the value of existing partners and develop new opportunities.
Lydia Edwards – Partnerships Executive
Lydia supports the Senior Partnerships Manager by planning and coordinating employee engagement activities, such as volunteering and fundraising events. She has an account management background in marketing and media sales environments, as well as a Management in Civil Society masters’ degree specialising in marketing and fundraising.
Nicola Williams – Regional Family Intervention Manager
Nicola’s role is to increase the impact SHS has on children and families in England’s northern regions, as well as manage the team of SHS practitioners there. She previously worked for a charity offering literacy interventions to children aged 3-16, having spent many years working with other organisations offering various support to nurseries, schools and sixth form colleges. Nicola has also mentored underprivileged teenage girls in Manchester and volunteered as a co-elected school governor for four years.
Vania Daza Durand – Data Analyst
By producing insightful database reports and statistics, Vania identifies useful information to help improve School-Home Support’s performance. She has a degree in Social Communications and Research Methodology and is currently studying Accountancy in Waltham Forest College.
Wendy McFaull – Family Intervention Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Wendy manages the SHS Coordinators and leads on the delivery of the SHS Practitioner service, as well as being the Designated Safeguarding Lead at SHS. Wendy is a qualified youth worker with over 30 years of experience supporting children, young people and their families in a variety of settings. Her roles have included taking responsibilities for all aspects of youth projects, including safeguarding. She is passionate about developing opportunities for young people and helping to provide the life chances they deserve.
Yadgar Mahmoud – IT Coordinator
Yadgar has responsibility for the updating and functioning of School-Home Support’s IT systems, telecoms and online platforms to ensure their effective use by staff and members, and to provide reports and statistics from databases in order to demonstrate the charity’s impact. He recently graduated from the University of East London with a degree in Computer Networks.
