Trusts & Foundations Executive

An exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic national charity based in Stratford:

For over 30 years School-Home Support has been working with disadvantaged children and young people struggling with their education due to a wide range of complex family issues. SHS gets children and young people back into school ready to learn, whatever it takes. We are a small dynamic charity with proven impact. Recent funding successes have enabled us to embark on an ambitious national programme of development, for which we now need additional expertise.

Trusts & Foundations Executive – 37.5 hours a week, full-time, based in Stratford

(Flexible working arrangements negotiable for the right candidate)

The Fundraising Executive (Trusts & Foundations) will work closely with the Senior Partnerships Manager and Trusts Fundraising Assistant to maximise income for SHS from this sector. This is a busy and varied role requiring the ability to manage a wide range of different relationships – liaising directly with donors and prospects and facilitating the involvement of colleagues as appropriate. Key to your success will be your ability to make a strong written case for support and to provide excellent management of existing grants in order to secure repeat funding.

Each member of the Fundraising Team shares responsibility for the overall fundraising target. We achieve this by collaborating and supporting each other; a strong team ethic is a must. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop and grow their skills.

School-Home Support is based in Stratford, 10 minutes walk from the station and well served with mainline trains, including Stratford International, Jubilee and Central line tubes, Overground and DLR.
