School-Home Support (SHS) is a dynamic charity with extensive experience and expertise in attendance, parental engagement and safeguarding for disadvantaged children and families, with proven outcomes and success in increasing attendance and reducing exclusions.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop our new Safeguarding Helpdesk Service. The post holder will be the first point of contact on the helpdesk, to offer support and advice with safeguarding concerns from SHS staff and members. The postholder will also further develop expertise across SHS, schools and members to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.
Safeguarding Support Officer – Salary £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience).
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of safeguarding and a confident ability to form professional partnerships with schools and a proven experience of sharing good practice and setting high standards.
