School-Home Support (SHS) is a dynamic charity with extensive experience and expertise in attendance, parental engagement and safeguarding for disadvantaged children and families, with proven outcomes and success in increasing attendance and reducing exclusions. This post will be critical in allowing us to respond to schools growing needs in the Blackpool area.
The post holder will be the SHS lead in the area and will further develop expertise across SHS, schools and members to promote positive outcomes for children and their families. The Coordinator will be responsible for 7 x Family Support Practitioners and 3 x Parent Engagement Practitioners.
Family Support Coordinator – Blackpool
Salary £27,500-£29,500 depending on experience, full time, 5 days per week
The successful candidate will have a confident ability to form professional partnerships with schools and other agencies and proven experience of sharing good practice and setting high standards. They will also have experience of managing staff and working effectively to build family resilience and be highly skilled in engaging children and their families.
