SHS is a centre of excellence for school home support services. We believe that all other professional bodies and agencies that work with children in schools should have the same level of training that SHS practitioners do, so that the service delivered is the very best one it can be for children.
Working with local authorities, service providers and the education sector, SHS sets the benchmark through our accredited training and offers other agencies the ability to gain skills and knowledge that will ensure children and young people’s needs are met. "Since completing a course with SHS I understand the different stages of child development and how these stages are influenced by environment, how to build and maintain relationships, boundary setting and how to deal with parents."
